Get an invisible kitty!
I'm not joking. It's called a Ghost Saber, and you can spawn it in Northern Ashenvale. Clean out the
nagas and right click the cat statue thingies you see on the ground. Occasionally they spawn a "Ghost Saber" - a see-through white leopard!
Tame it. Feed it. It will drop dead on you in five minutes (spawned creatures only last so long, then poof). Rez
it and it should come back. Feed it again.
One guy a few weeks ago said he lost his due to an apparently weird bug. So there is some risk. My orc, who tamed his GS before BC, still has his (dunno why I have so many hunter alts).
Anyway, this pet is a cat - good dps - and it keeps its "see thru" semi-invisible texture! It's very cool. Check it out in the besitary section. And it's only lvl 19-20, so it's only a few lvls behind you.
OR... go to Dranei lands (quite easy, swim out to the dock where the dranie boat comes, drown yourself, ghostwalk to dock, rez when ship comes on ship). Go to
the northern "bloodmyst Isle" and get a lvl 18ish green RAVAGER pet. It has high dps, learns bite and gore, growl and later on dash - and is a very good pet.
But you should learn to love your boar. Boars are the best pet.
