The abilities and mhans of a Paladin tank are extremely well suited for tanking multle mobs more efftively than a warrior. Healing Paladins are the best single-target healer in the game. Their mana effiey is mh better than any otherlass, allowing foronstant healing over long periods of time. These types of Paladins are wanted for raiding and arena fighting. Retribution Paladins have been something of an interestingase. For the longest time they wereonsidered to just not have enough damage output toompete with the rest of the dpslasses at end game.
